| This
chimney blew off during a recent tornado in Arlington. The insurance
company wanted to use the old pipe and other damaged parts to " fix
the chimney" buyer beware. |
Are
you looking for a new fireplace? We can
install, modify or replace any system without a problem.
|
Looking
Down from the top of the chimney before the pan and termination top is
installed. |
This
Crown was built with mortar instead of concrete. Mortar works fine
for brickwork, but when it is spread out thin it will dry very
rapidly. The end result is what you see above. |

|
| After
removing the loose bricks, we will add about 300-400 pounds of concrete. |
After
the concrete has dried, we install the chimney cover to protect the
interior from damage. Finally, the chimney is sprayed with chimney saver
to protect the exterior from future damage. |
You should have your
chimney inspected once a year before you use it.
